RUS/NTIA Workshop in Eureka, MO

We were honored the NTIA/RUS chose Missouri to hold one of their ten workshops for this last round of broadband stimulus funding. They chose wisely, as evidenced by the crowded workshop.

The opening speaker, USDA Director for the state of Missouri, Janie Dunning, was very interesting.  She stated that while visiting my home town of Farmington, she had to stand on one leg with one arm in the air to receive cellular service!

Actually, if you stand on the other leg, you can pick up a second provider!
