"In the age of computers and electronic information rural communities such as the ones I represent are lacking in sufficient Internet service.  Those who are lucky enough to have Internet service in their area potentially wait for hours for documents to download or even to establish a connection.  My district, a collection of rural communities, would greatly benefit from broadband connections.  Our schools, local libraries, businesses, local governments and individuals alike would significantly gain from such an endeavor by St. Louis Broadband."
